| Full Time - Licensed Psychologist MFHS is looking for a licensed psychologist for our multiple western Wisconsin offices. Must have broad experience in assessments of children, adolescents, and families with the ability to do work with a wide spectrum of disorders. In addition, must have the ability to supervise LPC staff in an adolescent day treatment and outpatient setting. Applicants must have a Ph.D. and be fully licensed in the state of Wisconsin as well as Medicaid/insurance reimbursable. Dr. Thomas Johnston, Ph.D. Licensed Psychologist Director of Marriage & Family Health Services, Ltd. Dr. Johnston is the founder of MFHS and creator of Mikan Trauma Reprocessing and Resculpting Therapy. He has over 30 years of experience working with children, adolescents, couples, and families. Dr. Johnston's experience with trauma includes working in an inpatient psychiatric unit during the Vietnam war, organizing a combat stress unit during Desert Storm, and 15 years of working with traumatized children in the Mikan programs. Dr. Johnston completed his Master's degrees in Marriage and Family Therapy at University of Wisconsin-Stout and in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing at the University of Texas-San Antonio. His doctorate in Clinical Psychology was earned at the Union Institute. Dr. Johnston is a licensed Psychologist, Marriage and Family Therapist, and Nurse. He is also a retired Associate Professor for the University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire, and a retired Lieutenant Colonel for the United States Army Reserve. Dr. Johnston is a member of the American Psychological Association as well as an approved Supervisor in the American Association for Marriage & Family Therapy. |
